Jane's hexagon quilt - so great!

Stephanie made this fabulous bat at Sewtopia, don't you love it?

Stephanie also did this curved piecing top. I adore the fabrics and want to learn how to make one!

Stephanie is so cutting edge with her succulent mini quilt with Crimson Tate fabric on the back. Love it!

Anita made this wonderful diagonal quilt with charm pack sized pieces and grey. I want to make this also!

Anita made this stunner with strips and two layers of quilting. Fabulous!

Yvettte had sew much fun making pillows! This square was cleverly designed to use stripes. 

Yvette used half square triangles and math, yes MATH to make this match all the way around.

April 23, 2015

April 23rd is our next meeting!

Make sure to bring 10 to 12 two and a half inch strips to swap.

We will also be starting on our What's Old is New inspired challenge with the old magazines.

And finally a remind that the 10 to 12 six and a half inch blocks are due on June 25 for a swap.

Meeting at the Rosemont Hilton this month to celebrate our quilts in the show!

This is a reminder that we are meeting at the International Quilt Festival SHOW this Thursday, NOT at Gentler Times.  We will be meeting in the HILTON bar, which is right across the street from the main entrance of the convention center.

We will be meeting at about 7pm.  So after you see your wonderful quilts in the show, come have a drink to celebrate with us!

We are meeting this month in Schaumburg at the quilt show. Stay tuned for which exact room.

Show and Tell Quilts at February 26th Meeting

We were very lucky that at the February 26th meeting we not only had the Friendship Star quilts but also great quilts for Show and Tell. (Anita and Yvette brought one of each!)

Enjoy the beautiful quilts. All were more impressive in person!

Friendship Star Quilts shown at February 26th Meeting

There are four Friendship Star quilts which will be in the show which were not presented at the meeting. Hopefully we'll have pictures of those once they are hung!

All the quilts were so creative, each completely different from the other but with a common element. I'll write each talented quilter's name above her quilt.
